Honouring God with a Grateful Heart
In the cheerful village of Ona, Amara, Kofi, and their friend Jasiri discover an important truth about joy and generosity. When Jasiri proudly shows off his shiny new toy car, he doesn’t want to share it — until wise old Kitabu stops by with a story from the Bible.
Through the lesson of the boy who shared his five loaves and two fish, the children learn that everything we have comes from God, and when we share with others, our blessings multiply. As they race their toy cars together, laughter fills the yard — and their hearts overflow with gratitude. The children realise that honouring God isn’t about what we keep, but what we give joyfully from the heart.
“Each one should give, then, what he has decided in his heart to give.
He should not give if it makes him sad. And he should not give if he thinks he is forced to give.
God loves the person who gives happily.”
— 2 Corinthians 9 : 7 (ICB)
